This artwork started off with 2 colours – yellow and orange. Most of my artworks are inspired by my yoga & meditation practice and my life experiences. This artwork was created to stimulate the Sacral & Solar Plexus Chakras. They are such happy colours as well. The concept of the artwork was inspired by a spring themed yoga retreat I recently held with a friend, where we all “planted” seeds of intention. I like the idea of those seeds being nourished and protected by our energy and the room for possibility as to how this seed will evolve. In this artwork I planted more than one seed and how the seeds may grow to do good in the world and how they might be interconnected and woven together. The artwork could be used in a sacred space to remind you to keep planting conscious seeds of intentions and that they may generate a web of your beautiful creations over time.

Each artwork is unique. I create the watercolour first and see where the stitching fits in.
