This artwork was inspired by the colours of the sacral and solarplexus chakras – yellow and orange and evolved from there. The watercolours created a space in the middle that inspired me to follow the lines with the gold thread and the pattern reminds of the patterns our heartbeat makes on ECG machine. Playing with colours is what inspires all my artworks and my hope is that this artwork will bring someone joy and inspiration of their own. You could place this frame in a sacred space to remind you to reconnect to your heart regularly.

Each artwork is unique. I create the watercolour first and see where the stitching fits in.
